Egerton Sport Horses is a family business professionally run using the considerable combined expertise of the four members of the Andrews family:

Mother - Angela has been involved in horses most of her life, competing up to Advanced level Dressage, a spell as an amateur flat race jockey, eventing, hunting and Teaching. Angela ran Badgworth Arena in Somerset from 1995 to 2000 and was responsible for attracting the Regional Dressage Finals and being awarded the accolade of the best dressage Show Centre by the Dressage Group. As a professional musician she was at the forefront of Dressage to Music creating many a memorable display. Especially for Olympic dressage rider Virginia Peters. Angela has taught both daughters from day one and our passion for horses is largely down to her. She has helped both daughters every step of the way training them for success in their chosen disciplines and continues to be a big support and contributor to their success.

Father - Chris. As a successful businessman both with multinationals and his own companies Chris came late to horses, launching his equestrian life in the flat race Pro-Am scene in Singapore and Malaysia. Upon return to the UK he went into Point to Pointing before discovering Polo which took over life, becoming treasurer, Polo manager and eventually Chairman of Taunton Vale Polo club. In 2010 he retired from tournament Polo and took up Hunting with the Avon Vale. In 2012 he was unable to stay away from polo any longer and became owner of Tidworth polo club. He plans to grow Tidworth as a business and has had great success with organising events such as the first ever para polo match, the best of british tournament and the rundle cup which Prince Harry played in this year. Next year he is aiming to grow all of these already large events even further and possibly add more events to Tidworthscalendar.

Daughter -Amy was brought up with horses learning and competing in all disciplines, Accepting rides on every type of horse or pony she could get her hands on from a very young age she has always been dedicated and professional about her riding. After a period at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff she decided that an equestrian career was what she would work towards. Now having completed years of honing her skills as a rider,show jumper, breaker and trainer of young horses she is ready to head up Egerton Sport Horses. Amy has ridden and produced horses from unbroken to prix st George level dressage, novice eventing and 1.40m showjumping. Notably she worked for Paul Schockemohle in Germany riding and competing young show jumpers, Lady Georgina Forbes and Jessica Kurten at Castle Forbes in Ireland, breaking and bringing on her youngInternational Show Jumpers and Kate Lucas Eventing in England breaking and competing young Event Horses. She has also successfully competed on her own horses in the UK and Germany.

Daughter - Jessica, was also brought up with horses and after an intense period of Dressage, representing England and winning gold medals at pony and young rider level, she took up Polo. Following two seasons as a playing Polo Manager of Taunton Vale Polo Club, she went to Tidworth and the Combined Services Polo Club. As a 1 goal player she is also a qualified HPA club coach. Winters for 9 years were spent in New Zealand where she worked helping Will Lucas (currently 6 Goals ex England Polo Team player) with his young horse development. She is now heavily involved with the management of Tidworth Polo club and spends the winters teaching, producing young polo ponies and playing arena polo.
